Position Title: Program Director

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 / Year DOE
Program Director Responsibilities:
- Supervise 5-10 student success coaches, managing team member expectations and outcomes
- Network and build relationships with site partners to improve the program and curriculum
- Conduct school visits approximately twice a week to support and monitor coaches
- Oversee operational processes and lead program efforts, constituting 30% of the role
- Engage in supervisory activities, including performance evaluations and staff training, making up 25% of the responsibilities
- Collaborate with educational staff and represent the organization at district meetings and community events, accounting for 25% of the role
- Develop scalable operational systems to support growth and assist in fundraising efforts, which constitutes 20% of the responsibilities
Program Director Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in youth development or education
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site programs or operations
- A valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
- Master’s degree is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain within 30 days, is preferred
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are preferred
- Experience with grant management and compliance is preferred
- Knowledge of the local community and educational landscape is preferred
- Training in trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning is preferred
