Take ownership of complex, high-impact construction projects with a contractor that gives its people the resources, autonomy and long-term opportunity to build a career — not just complete the next job. We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale institutional and educational construction projects, including oversight of subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, inspections and project execution. This role will play a critical part in coordinating major project scopes, with an immediate emphasis on MEPF coordination for a $160M+ ground-up high school project.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with a strong General Contractor background, experience leading projects valued at $30M+ and the leadership skills to coordinate complex field operations while building strong relationships with owners, architects, project teams and trade partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field operations for large-scale institutional and commercial construction projects
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate construction schedules to keep projects progressing safely, efficiently and on schedule
  • Oversee safety, quality control, inspections, documentation and overall field execution
  • Lead major project scopes, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, owners, architects, engineers and trade contractors throughout construction
  • Manage complex MEPF coordination across multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication across the field and project leadership teams

Requirements

  • 7+ years of construction experience with a current or recent General Contractor background
  • Proven experience leading construction projects valued at $30M or more
  • Strong background in institutional, educational, municipal, or commercial construction
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large subcontractor teams and coordinate complex project scopes
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Stable career history with experience taking ownership of demanding field operations
  • Ability to successfully complete required background, drug and driving record screenings

Benefits

  • Significant annual bonus potential based on experience and company performance
  • Employee ownership opportunities with eligibility to purchase company stock beginning January 2027
  • Company vehicle or monthly vehicle allowance plus fuel card
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off based on experience plus five paid sick days annually
  • Employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability coverage and Employee Assistance Program

If you are ready to lead complex, high-profile projects with a growing contractor that rewards performance, values long-term relationships and invests in its people, apply today!
