Job Description
Position Title: Hybrid Trust and Estate Litigation Paralegal
Salary: $95,000–$135,000 / Year DOE
Ready to build your career at a firm that’s growing as fast as your ambitions? This highly respected California litigation firm handles sophisticated trust, estate, probate, conservatorship, and elder abuse matters while maintaining a collaborative, people-first culture. Following a recent acquisition and with plans to double both its revenue and team over the next two years, the firm offers exceptional opportunities for long-term growth and career advancement. This is more than a traditional litigation paralegal role. You’ll become a key driver of case strategy and workflow, partnering closely with attorneys to keep complex matters moving efficiently from intake through trial. The firm values accountability, innovation, continuous learning, and exceptional client service without the rigid atmosphere often found at larger law firms. You’ll enjoy approachable leadership, genuine work-life balance, flexible work arrangements, and a workplace where your contributions are recognized and your ideas help shape the future of the firm.

- Maintain highly organized electronic and physical case files and ensure case management records remain current
- Lead regular case check-ins with attorneys and support staff to ensure deadlines and next steps are completed on time
Requirements
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, including at least 3 years focused on California Trust & Estate Litigation
- Experience managing litigation matters from inception through trial
- Supported at least 25 depositions and 3 trials, including exhibit preparation, evidence organization, and trial support
- Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, and litigation documents beyond discovery shells
- Comprehensive knowledge of the California Probate Code, California Rules of Court (CRC), and Code of Civil Procedure (CCP)
- Paralegal Certificate or qualification under California Business & Professions Code §6450 (BMP qualified)
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, including OCR, Bates stamping, document organization, and production
- Experience with Trial Director or similar trial presentation software
Benefits
- Hybrid or remote work flexibility following approximately 1–2 weeks of onsite training (must be available to attend trials in person)
