Position Title: VP of Sales/Business Development

The Vice President of Sales/Business Development will play a pivotal role in leading sales and marketing initiatives across Home Health, Hospice, and Contract Rehab. This position requires collaboration with executive leadership to drive growth and enhance performance. The individual will be responsible for refining sales strategies, optimizing organizational structure, and implementing accountability measures based on key performance indicators. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in post-acute growth, joint ventures, referral development, and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, the ability to lead transformational change and build high-performing teams is essential for success in this role.

Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 20 sales representatives
  • Establish key performance indicators and ensure accountability
  • Assist sales representatives in expanding their client base
  • Conduct training sessions for the sales team
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop strategic sales plans focused on growth and profitability
  • Inspire high-performing Sales and Marketing teams across various service lines
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, including organic growth and M&A opportunities
  • Drive the organization to meet and exceed financial goals
  • Prepare the team to identify new referral sources and close sales
  • Implement metrics-driven management to evaluate business performance

Requirements:

  • Previous sales leadership experience in a Home Health or Hospice organization
  • Mission-driven individual with a passion for patient care
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience as a VP of Sales/Business Development in a private equity-backed healthcare services business
  • Significant sales experience with an analytical and process-oriented approach
  • Proven ability to be hands-on while maintaining a strategic perspective
  • Experience managing exponential growth and driving organic growth
  • M&A experience with a successful track record
  • Understanding of organizational scaling
  • Familiarity with payors and third-party reimbursement
  • Experience implementing processes that enable aggressive scaling of post-acute businesses
  • MBA is preferred
  • Trella CRM experience is preferred
