Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of the organization by managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This position involves prospecting and developing new business clients while also analyzing client risks to recommend appropriate coverage. The manager will build long-term relationships with business owners and collaborate with account managers for effective service delivery. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage a pipeline effectively. Individuals in this position will benefit from a supportive environment with ample inbound referrals, allowing them to focus on client relationships and growth.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new commercial/business clients
- Analyze client risk and recommend appropriate coverage
- Quote and place business across multiple insurance carriers
- Build long-term relationships with business owners
- Collaborate with commercial account managers for servicing
- Identify cross-sell opportunities within client accounts
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial insurance
- Active Property & Casualty License
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- HS Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
