Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on specialized welding and automation equipment
• Support equipment installations and provide on-site customer training
• Prepare and follow up on customer installations and service activities
• Deliver technical support remotely and in person across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
• Assist with integrating automated solutions and provide technical expertise to internal sales teams
• Conduct product demonstrations at trade shows and customer events
• Manage customer inquiries, project timelines, and service reports
• Travel approximately 50% of the time, primarily across the Northeast region

Service Technician Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of maintenance experience with welding equipment
• TIG and GTAW welding knowledge required
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Completed technical training; electrical clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in industrial equipment maintenance
• Proficient with MS Office and capable of creating detailed service documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with orbital welding equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with PLCs, speed variation, and brushless motor technology
• Knowledge of automated manufacturing solutions
