A fast-growing and family-run logistics company is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their direct-to-consumer fulfillment function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll lead a small team, manage inventory and order accuracy, ensure timely shipments, and work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.

They are looking for someone who is adaptable, dependable, and excited to roll up their sleeves and help grow a thriving business. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role with room to scale into broader operational leadership across future locations.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 / year DOE

Fulfillment Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily fulfillment operations for a growing DTC product line, primarily in food and beverage
  • Manage and coach a small team to ensure efficient workflows and accuracy
  • Maintain inventory integrity, execute cycle counts, and manage order fulfillment timelines
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Resolve order or inventory issues quickly and effectively
  • Communicate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations
  • Jump in on sales calls when needed to support quoting, pricing, or fulfillment strategy
  • Work closely with the warehouse and leadership to optimize fulfillment processes
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards
  • Contribute to long-term operational planning and scalability of fulfillment operations

Fulfillment Operations Manager Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in fulfillment operations, preferably within a direct-to-consumer environment
  • Strong background in inventory management and order processing
  • Hands-on experience managing teams and working in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with logistics or supply chain workflows; experience in food/beverage a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with inventory/warehouse management systems
  • Willingness to be onsite daily
  • Ability to thrive in a family-owned business environment where people wear many hats
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a go-getter attitude
