A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking a Land Survey Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple field survey crews and office survey staff. This in-office leadership role involves managing day-to-day operations, supervising deliverables, and maintaining close collaboration with both clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage crews and complex survey operations with confidence.

Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 / year DOE

Land Survey Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage, schedule, and direct multiple field crews and office survey personnel
• Organize project tasks, delegate responsibilities, and track weekly crew activities
• Communicate directly with clients regarding project needs, expectations, and updates
• Prepare scopes of work and support proposal and bid development
• Supervise and review construction staking, field data, and office deliverables
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across all survey operations
• Provide oversight and mentorship to party chiefs and survey technicians

Land Survey Manager Requirements:

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license strongly preferred; candidates close to licensure (LSIT) considered
• 5+ years of relevant field and office survey experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GPS/Trimble workflows
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with construction staking, client-facing roles, and proposal development
