A thriving civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced PE Civil Engineer with 10-15+ years of land development experience to step into a leadership role and eventually become a partner in the firm. This position is ideal for a self-starter who excels in project management, business development, and client relations within the private land development sector.

Salary Range: $145,000 – $200,000 / year DOE

PE Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage private sector land development projects
• Oversee the full project lifecycle – from proposals and planning to execution and closeout
• Serve as the engineer in responsible charge of multiple projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with private clients and national homebuilders
• Provide cost estimating and budgeting using Excel
• Utilize AutoCAD for project design and development
• Occasionally visit job sites
• Take an active role in business development to bring in new projects
• Work closely with leadership and transition into a partner role

PE Civil Engineer Requirements:

• PE License
• 10-15+ years of civil engineering experience in private sector land development
• Experience with commercial, subdivision, and industrial land development projects
• Minimum of 5 years of design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel
• Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and a self-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills and professional client interaction experience
