A rapidly scaling financial services firm is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help shape the future of its growing portfolio of companies. This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to build and lead the finance function across four entities with distinct business models, ranging from alternative investments and securities to real estate-backed assets and trust accounts. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, forward-thinking finance leader who thrives in ambiguity, excels at cross-functional integration, and is eager to drive strategy in a fast-paced, cash-heavy, and growth-oriented environment.

CFO Responsibilities:

• Lead and integrate the financial strategy across four business entities under the parent company
• Evaluate capital deployment strategies, including potential bank acquisitions or partnerships
• Oversee and support Controllers in each entity; implement scalable reporting and decision-making frameworks
• Create and manage financial models, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for multiple business lines
• Develop and build out structure for a currently unstructured finance environment
• Own risk management and reporting related to trust account management and large monthly cash movements
• Assist in filing and managing the financial reporting for a public S-1 debt offering
• Evaluate the ROI of various investment strategies, including debt offerings backed by real estate
• Create dashboards and real-time financial reporting tools using Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase AUM

CFO Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of finance leadership experience, including 5+ years in a C-Suite or high-level strategic role
• Experience in financial services, preferably within alternative investments, real estate-backed securities, or other cash-heavy verticals
• Demonstrated ability to build structure in high-growth, fast-changing organizations
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capability, including experience with large cash flow management and AUM oversight
• Experience with financial reporting tools such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills; must be sharp, socially aware, and high-energy
• CPA, MBA, or CFA strongly preferred
