Job Description
Position Title: Transportation Business Development/Account Executive
This role is essential for driving growth within the company by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the transportation sector. The individual will be responsible for building a robust pipeline through cold outreach and lead generation. With no existing accounts, the focus will be on establishing relationships and achieving sales targets. The company seeks motivated candidates who are eager to contribute to a dynamic environment and grow alongside the organization. This position offers a fast-track opportunity to advance to a managerial role within a year.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business through cold outreach and lead generation
- Build and manage a book of business
- Own the full sales cycle from start to close
- Maintain client relationships and ensure retention
- Track pipeline and activity using HubSpot CRM
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience with a focus on business development and cold outreach
- Background in transportation, logistics, or trucking is required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required
- High school diploma is required
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience with HubSpot is preferred
- Ideal candidates from competitor companies is preferred
