Job Description
Position Title: Physical Therapist
A patient-focused outpatient clinic is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide individualized, hands-on care to a diverse patient population. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing customized treatment plans, providing manual therapy and therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities that matter most to them.
The ideal candidate is a licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist who is passionate about personalized patient care, values collaboration, and wants to continue developing their clinical skills. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, and the practice provides training in manual therapy along with ongoing opportunities for continuing education and specialization.
Salary Range: $63,000 – $75,000 / annually, DOE
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on treatment using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other evidence-based techniques to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to support optimal recovery and long-term outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, injury prevention, and strategies for managing their conditions
- Build strong relationships with patients while delivering attentive, individualized care during each appointment
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with clinical standards
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license or eligibility for state licensure
- New graduates and candidates completing their clinical hours with temporary licensure are welcome to apply
- Strong interest in hands-on treatment and manual therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and continuously improving clinical skills
Preferred Skills
- Clinical experience or internships involving geriatric care
- Exposure to pediatrics, acute care, or home and community-based care
- Experience or interest in Active Release Techniques or similar manual therapy approaches
- Strong internship and clinical rotation experience
- Desire to pursue additional certifications or areas of specialization
