This role involves handling tax preparation and various accounting duties, including closing books, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation using QuickBooks. Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 / year DOE

Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex business and personal tax returns accurately
• Adjust client books and records to support tax preparation needs
• Manage month-end closing processes and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
• Prepare financial statements with explanatory notes for client delivery
• Assist audit team on limited engagements as needed
• Perform tax research using various industry tools and software
• Communicate with clients to clarify financial questions and maintain relationships

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:

• 5-10 years of combined tax and accounting experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with business and personal tax return preparation
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment
• CPA certification preferred but not required
• Experience with Ultra Tax or Caseware is a plus
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
