A growing homecare services company based in Acton, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager/Office Manager to join its leadership team. This hybrid position blends strategic HR responsibilities with daily office oversight to help support a compassionate and mission-driven workplace. Ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment, this role requires strong organization, scheduling, and communication skills. Human Resource Manager/Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff orientation to support organizational growth
- Oversee employee records, HR policies, and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations and performance management issues
- Coordinate daily office operations including supplies, vendors, and space management
- Manage staff scheduling for caregivers, resolving conflicts and ensuring client coverage
- Process payroll and support benefits enrollment, updates, and administrative questions
- Partner with company owners to support culture, communication, and team engagement
Human Resource Manager/Office Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a combined HR and Office Management role
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and payroll procedures
- Experience with scheduling, administrative systems, and cross-functional coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/payroll software (WellSky a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Previous exposure to homecare or healthcare industries preferred
