Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Design decentralized wastewater treatment systems for both public and private sector clients
• Produce detailed construction drawings and design documents using AutoCAD
• Collaborate on project planning, permitting, and construction oversight
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including municipalities, property owners, and engineers
• Assist with hydraulic analysis and innovative system integration
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Support senior leadership in executing a broad range of environmental infrastructure projects

Civil Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• 3+ years of experience in civil design
• Wastewater or water experience is strongly preferred
• Understanding of hydraulic systems
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing project details independently
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present ideas and findings
• GIS experience a plus
• PE license not required, but a plus
