About:
Take the lead on complex construction projects that make a lasting impact on the built environment. We are seeking a driven, field-focused Project Manager to oversee the coordination and delivery of specialized precast concrete construction projects throughout the Northeast. From initial project handoff through final closeout, you will take ownership of multiple projects, collaborating with estimating, engineering, manufacturing, contractors, customers, and field teams to keep every detail on track. You will manage schedules, budgets, safety, quality, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and stakeholder communications while spending significant time at active jobsites. This is an exciting opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, develop strong industry relationships, and play a hands-on role in delivering major infrastructure and commercial construction work. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with strong project leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, travel-intensive field environment. Precast concrete experience is a plus, but talented Project Managers from general construction, heavy civil, steel, or specialty subcontracting backgrounds are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Lead 2–5 concurrent construction projects from project handoff through execution and final closeout, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
- Coordinate daily with engineering, manufacturing, contractors, subcontractors, erectors, customers, inspectors, and field personnel to keep projects moving efficiently
- Manage project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, progress reports, billing, invoicing, and overall financial performance
- Oversee construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, drawings, specifications, and project correspondence
- Maintain a strong onsite presence, monitor jobsite safety and quality, resolve field challenges, and proactively address schedule risks and critical path items
- Support preconstruction planning, estimating handoffs, value engineering, scope reviews, and project closeout activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, heavy civil, structural, or specialty construction
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate complex construction workflows
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change order management
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Northeast, including overnight travel that may reach 75% depending on project assignments
- Proficiency with construction technology and project documentation tools such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, P6, AutoCAD, or similar platforms
Benefits
- Monthly vehicle stipend and company gas card to support project-related travel
- Hotel accommodations available for distant jobsite assignments
- Flexible scheduling with potential for hybrid work when project demands and onsite responsibilities allow
- Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure, commercial, and industrial construction projects across the Northeast and beyond
- Join an established, family-led organization known for strong employee relationships, long-term careers, and a collaborative work environment
Ready to take ownership of complex projects and build something that lasts? Apply today to join and bring your construction leadership experience to a team delivering some of the industry’s most challenging precast projects!
