Job Description

Position Title: Project Manager

Take ownership of complex multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. A well-established specialty construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple large-scale new construction projects throughout the Seattle-area market. This role will manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, crews, and closeout while serving as a key point of coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of construction project management experience, strong knowledge of the general contractor environment, and proven experience with new construction multifamily projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed PM who thrives with autonomy, understands how projects move from contract through completion, and knows how to keep multiple moving pieces on track.

Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000 / Year, DOE

Responsibilities

  • Manage approximately 3–5 active multifamily construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Coordinate preconstruction meetings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules of values
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure critical deadlines and milestones are met
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle of each project
  • Schedule field crews and coordinate manpower based on project needs and timelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with general contractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee project closeout and ensure all required documentation and deliverables are completed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a strong preference for Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • New construction multifamily experience required
  • Strong understanding of general contractor operations, project sequencing, and the full construction lifecycle
  • Experience working for a general contractor strongly preferred, though highly relevant subcontractor experience will be considered
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage several complex projects at once

Benefits

  • Project-based bonus opportunity tied to gross profit
  • Medical insurance
  • PTO
  • 5 paid sick days
  • Flexible, independent working environment with significant ownership over assigned projects

If you’re an experienced multifamily construction Project Manager who knows how to take control of a project, keep teams aligned, and deliver from preconstruction through closeout, apply today.
