The Field Service Technician will play a vital role in servicing advanced laser printing equipment across a designated territory. This position involves maintaining and troubleshooting various industrial coders and markers, utilizing diverse technologies that include continuous inkjet and laser systems. The technician will work independently, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently while addressing customer needs promptly. This role offers opportunities for professional growth through specialized training and the chance to master proprietary technologies. The technician will also contribute to a stable and supportive work environment while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 / Year DOE
Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Regularly monitor the status of printers using the cloud system
- Diagnose and repair issues on-site to restore printer functionality
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure printers remain operational
- Document work orders and generate detailed performance reports
- Manage on-site inventory and order parts as necessary
Field Service Technician Requirements:
- Strong background and experience with industrial/commercial printing equipment, specifically Domino-AX printers
- 4-6 years of technical experience or military equivalent
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Industrial equipment maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to complete technical training
- Valid driver’s license
