Position Title: Private Banker
Salary Range: $160,000–$210,000 / DOE + Quarterly Incentives + Annual RSUs
A leading financial institution is seeking an accomplished Private Banker to expand its presence across the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This high-impact production role focuses on developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professional referral partners while delivering tailored solutions across lending, deposits, treasury management, trust, and wealth advisory services. Private Banker Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professional referral partners
- Grow business across lending, deposits, treasury management, trust, estate planning, and wealth advisory services
- Cultivate referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors and other influential community partners
- Farm existing relationships while actively pursuing new business throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market
- Follow up on warm leads and untapped opportunities resulting from Columbia Bank’s expansion and acquisitions
- Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact who coordinates client needs across internal banking and wealth management teams
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand each client’s personal, business, and financial priorities
- Present customized banking solutions and clearly demonstrate Columbia Bank’s value proposition
- Maintain consistent client communication and remain accessible when time-sensitive needs arise
- Partner with credit, underwriting, treasury management, trust and advisory professionals to deliver seamless solutions
- Track prospect activity, client data and pipeline development in Salesforce
- Attend client meetings, networking events and community functions to strengthen market visibility and generate opportunities
- Travel locally and occasionally by air to meet with clients and referral partners
Private Banker Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in private banking, commercial banking, private wealth management, or a closely related field
- Established network of high-net-worth clients, business owners, and professional referral sources within the Dallas–Fort Worth market
- Demonstrated history of originating and growing substantial loan, deposit, assets under management, and fee-income relationships
- Strong understanding of credit and the ability to discuss complex lending needs with clients and internal partners
- Proven ability to generate business independently through prospecting, networking and relationship development
- High degree of social intelligence with a polished, engaging and consultative communication style
- Ability to articulate a clear value proposition and compete effectively for sophisticated client relationships
- Strong client service instincts with the responsiveness required to deliver a white-glove experience
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, though equivalent experience and a proven production record will be considered
- Series 6 or Series 7 license is preferred
