Position Title: Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. This position involves managing project budgets, coordinating field personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager is responsible for researching bidding opportunities and preparing proposals for prospective projects.

Salary Range: $90,000+ / Year DOE

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand the scope of work for assigned projects, including timelines, staffing, resources, and budgets
  • Manage the execution of construction projects from startup through closeout
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Oversee daily operations and procedures at job sites
  • Provide leadership to field personnel and ensure effective crew management
  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and project correspondence
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to obtain quotes from vendors
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding project requirements and schedules
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance
  • Provide regular project updates and communicate status to management

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project engineering or project management
  • Electrical construction experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or public works projects is preferred
  • Experience working in a union construction environment is preferred
