Position Title: Bilingual Associate Attorney

About the Role: This role presents an opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to manage personal injury cases from pre-suit through litigation. The Bilingual Associate Attorney will engage in drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and handling discovery while appearing in court. Direct communication with clients, many of whom are Spanish-speaking, is essential to provide updates and explain legal processes. The position requires collaboration with experts and thorough trial preparation to effectively advance cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing a caseload. This role is suited for individuals who value teamwork and client service in a supportive environment.

Bilingual Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury cases from pre-suit through litigation
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on liability, damages, and procedural rules
  • Handle pre-suit investigations and review accident reports and medical records
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and gather facts
  • Prepare settlement demands and negotiate with opposing counsel
  • Attend and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and medical providers
  • Make court appearances for hearings and status conferences
  • Assist with trial preparation, including drafting witness outlines and jury instructions
  • Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and court orders

Bilingual Associate Attorney Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Pre-Suit Personal Injury
  • Experience with motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases
  • Membership in the Florida Bar is required
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Insurance Defense or First Party experience in PIP or homeowners’ claims is preferred
