Job Description

Position Title: Insurance Producer

An opportunity exists for an Insurance Producer to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role focuses on both personal and commercial lines, including auto, homeowners, general liability, and specialized niche coverages. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving sales and establishing relationships with small business clients. The position demands adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes and technology. A strong sales background and a proactive approach to client engagement are essential for success in this role.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 / Year DOE

Insurance Producer Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 20 inbound leads daily and conduct 8–9 qualifying conversations leading to quotes
  • Conduct 2–3 meetings per prospect to finalize policy sales
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools for intake, quoting, and documentation
  • Sell property and casualty policies, focusing on personal or commercial lines
  • Engage in cold calling and attend local small business events as needed
  • Collaborate with support teams and utilize AI tools for administrative tasks
  • Mentor and train junior producers

Insurance Producer Requirements:

  • Current active P&C and Personal Lines License with the state of Massachusetts
  • 2+ years of recent experience as an insurance sales producer in property and casualty
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals
  • Comfortable with high lead volume and AI-enabled workflows
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts/New England is preferred
  • 3–4+ years of producing experience is preferred
  • Experience in small commercial sectors, such as contractors and restaurants, is preferred
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff is preferred
  • Possessing an existing book of business is preferred
