Job Description
Position Title: Superintendent
This role is critical for overseeing the operations of a sophisticated radar facility originally built during the Cold War. The Superintendent will ensure that all aspects of the project are executed effectively, from managing subcontractors to maintaining clear communication with teams. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, emphasizing transparency and collaboration. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment, where they will lead a team and manage large-scale projects with significant budgets. Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 / Year DOE
Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit superintendent reports
- Oversee documentation from subcontractors
- Collaborate with quality control consultants and testing agencies to schedule and review work
- Manage project engineers and delegate tasks as necessary
Superintendent Requirements:
- Five years of experience as a superintendent in USCACE or similar projects, such as DOD or NAVFAC, with budgets ranging from $20 million to $50 million
- Experience overseeing a minimum of 20 personnel on site
- Five years of quality experience with government contracts or government-awarded projects
- Valid state driver’s license and qualification to operate a vehicle under company policies
- RMS proficiency
- Exceptional technical writing skills
- Osha 30 is preferred
- Forklift certification is preffered
