Position Title: Head of Sales

The Head of Sales will play a critical role in leading and developing the national sales organization. This position requires a seasoned leader who can build scalable sales systems and processes while driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet their performance goals and contribute to the company’s growth. The role involves collaboration with executive leadership to establish strategies that align with the company’s objectives. This is an opportunity to shape a high-performance sales culture and make a significant impact within a rapidly growing organization.

Salary Range: $150,000 – $170,000 / Year DOE

Head of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and grow the national sales organization
  • Build scalable sales systems, processes, and SOPs
  • Develop training programs, onboarding materials, and sales playbooks
  • Coach, mentor, and develop sales managers and representatives
  • Establish KPIs, reporting dashboards, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Partner closely with the CEO on growth strategy and execution
  • Drive revenue growth while improving sales efficiency and accountability
  • Create a high-performance, team-oriented sales culture
  • Implement data-driven decision-making across the sales organization
  • Evaluate and improve CRM usage, reporting, and sales operations infrastructure
  • Recruit, hire, and train top-performing sales talent

Head of Sales Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales leadership experience in B2B
  • Pharma or healthcare experience
  • Proven experience managing teams of 8 or more direct reports
  • Strong track record of scaling a business from approximately $10M to $50M in revenue
  • Experience training personnel
  • Demonstrated success building sales infrastructure, systems, and processes
  • Experience creating SOPs, training manuals, and scalable operational workflows
  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting; experience with Zoho is not required
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience within MedSurg, healthcare distribution, or pharmaceutical sales is required
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred
