Job Description

Position Title: Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer experience within a manufacturing environment. This position requires a candidate who can navigate complex logistics and foster strong relationships with both clients and internal teams. The manager will coordinate communications, oversee order processing, and address shipping issues, all while maintaining a high standard of service. The role demands adaptability as the company is in a growth phase, necessitating a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Candidates must be prepared to engage with a diverse customer base and work closely with various departments to drive efficiency and satisfaction.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 / Year DOE

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and manage shipping logistics
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their inquiries and concerns
  • Resolve shipping issues and coordinate with logistics personnel
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production managers, to ensure timely delivery
  • Utilize the ERP system and office software, such as Excel, for order management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions
  • Assist in calculating raw materials for production

Customer Service Manager Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience in customer service or procurement is beneficial
  • Management experience is preferred for growth opportunity
  • BA Degree is preferred
