Position Title: Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative

The Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative plays a critical role in growing recurring service revenue while building long-term relationships with commercial clients throughout the Columbus market. This position is ideal for an experienced HVAC service sales professional who understands preventative maintenance programs, service agreements, and repair solutions. The representative will inherit an established book of business while continuing to develop new opportunities within the territory. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven hunter who enjoys working autonomously, partnering with operations teams, and delivering long-term value to commercial customers

Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an established book of business while developing new commercial client relationships throughout the territory
  • Sell commercial HVAC preventative maintenance agreements, service contracts, repairs, retrofits, and related mechanical service solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and commercial customers
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, and existing relationships
  • Partner closely with service technicians and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service and long-term client retention
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and develop customized service solutions
  • Maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and industry partners
  • Manage account growth, customer retention, and ongoing service agreement renewals

Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial HVAC Service Sales experience required
  • Proven success selling commercial HVAC service agreements, preventative maintenance programs, and mechanical service solutions
  • Experience developing new business while managing existing commercial accounts
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and the mechanical services industry
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
