Job Description

Position Title: Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Superintendents and Project Managers during the post-award phase of commercial landscape construction projects. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities that ensure projects, valued between $50K and $4M, remain organized and on schedule across various sectors including commercial, civic, education, healthcare, retail, government, industrial, and multifamily. The role involves managing project documentation, vendor coordination, and assisting with subcontractor work orders. Candidates should be prepared to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively juggling multiple requests. A commitment to detail and organization is essential for success in this position.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 / Year DOE

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Support Superintendents and Project Managers during the post-award construction phase
  • Organize project information within internal data systems and prepare necessary documents for clients
  • Prepare product data, shop drawings, and subcontractor information for submittals
  • Maintain submittal logs throughout the approval process
  • Manage procurement of materials and plants, coordinating with vendors and nurseries
  • Maintain tracking systems for procurement of construction materials
  • Update job status reports regularly
  • Assist in reviewing and verifying quantities and unit prices of subcontractor work orders
  • Support Punch List items and project closeout activities

Project Coordinator Requirements:

  • 2+ years as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer in any construction industry
  • Strong organizational skills and expert attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to manage multiple requests from different individuals
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices
  • Experience with project management software
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
