Position Title: Mid-Senior Level Associate

About the Role: This role presents a unique opportunity for a skilled attorney to engage in complex wage and hour litigation within a supportive and dynamic environment. Salary Range: $245,000 – $270,000 / Year DOE

Mid-Senior Level Associate Responsibilities:

  • Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Defend employers in complex wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions in state and federal courts throughout California
  • Manage written discovery and prepare key motions, including class certification and decertification

Mid-Senior Level Associate Requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience
  • Substantial experience litigating claims under the California Labor Code, the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • Proven ability to manage matters from inception through resolution
  • Comfortable developing a strategy in PAGA representative actions and analyzing core wage and hour compliance issues
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability are preferred
