Position Title: Temp AP Clerk
This role serves as a temporary assignment with the potential for extension, providing an opportunity to contribute to the accounts payable process in a family-oriented company. The position involves managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals, and preparing various payment types. The work environment fosters collaboration, with approachable leadership and a supportive team culture. The role is straightforward, requiring attention to detail but not high volume. Candidates will find a welcoming atmosphere that encourages questions and teamwork.
Salary Range: $20.00 – $21.00 / Hour DOE
Temp AP Clerk Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices into the system
- Code invoices accurately and match them to approvals
- Prepare checks, ACH, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Follow up on missing invoices or discrepancies
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries
- Maintain organized accounts payable files
- Assist with month-end closing tasks
- Support the Controller or Finance Manager as needed
Temp AP Clerk Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience
- High school diploma
- Experience with Sage, Intacct, or any accounting software is preferred
- Experience with billings.com is required
- Open to any industry
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
