Job Description
Position Title: Selling Advisor
The Selling Advisor position is a pivotal role within the organization, focusing on converting prospects into clients. This position does not require cold outreach, as the advisor will receive warm leads generated through marketing and television presence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of closing deals and must be comfortable with working long hours, including occasional Saturdays. The firm offers a supportive environment with ample leads, allowing the advisor to focus on client engagement and relationship building. A commitment to the role and a willingness to adapt to the firm’s processes are essential for success in this position.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 / Year DOE
Selling Advisor Responsibilities:
- Engage with warm leads to convert prospects into clients
- Attend pre-scheduled appointments and effectively close deals
- Onboard new clients using established processes
- Set annual goals for new assets and work towards achieving them
- Establish rapport with clients and provide tailored financial planning
Selling Advisor Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in selling within financial services or financial planning
- Possession of a Series 65 license
- Demonstrated success in converting prospects into clients
- Illinois life and health insurance license is preferred
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
