Salary Range: $120,000 – $180,000 / Year DOE
Attorney Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members on a variety of cases, typically managing 10-20 cases at a time.
- Serve as the primary contact for smaller cases, overseeing them from initiation to resolution.
- Focus on individual cases, primarily involving Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) matters, while also addressing other legal issues.
- Prepare and review motions with oversight from senior partners.
- Finalize discovery documents after paralegal drafts.
- Participate in court appearances and depositions.
- Draft complaints and assist in trial preparation, contributing to a trial-heavy practice.
- Engage in strategic discussions regarding case development and planning.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents in various legal matters.
- Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparations.
- Communicate with clients and develop case strategies.
- Conduct legal research and briefings on complex issues.
- Work closely with partners on case development and trial strategies.
Attorney Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in law.
- Must be barred in California, or bar number pending.
- Experience at a large firm or as a high-level student from a reputable law school is strongly preferred.
- Top tier of class preferred.
