Job Description
A boutique operating and investment firm is hiring an Associate Investment Analyst to sit at the center of its multifamily investment engine, supporting both GP and LP strategies across the full deal lifecycle. This is a true front-office role where you will underwrite acquisitions, build business plans, run diligence, support closings, and track asset performance post-close while working directly with the SVP of Investments, VP of Acquisitions, and CEO. You will be trusted to own deals, speak up, bring ideas, and help shape a fast-growing family office that is actively scaling its U.S. multifamily platform. They are looking for a sharp, driven real estate investor who can independently run transactions, think critically about markets and value-add strategy, and thrive in a high-expectations, high-visibility environment.
Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000 / Year DOE
Associate Investment Analyst Responsibilities:
- Lead underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis for both GP and LP deals
- Perform market research, due diligence, and deal screening
- Draft and finalize offering memorandums, investment memos, and business plans
- Coordinate third-party reports, legal, lenders, and JV partners through closing
- Assist with LOIs, PSAs, JV agreements, and transaction documentation
- Review closing statements and ensure accurate deal execution
- Monitor underwriting vs. actual performance post-close
- Maintain and update financial models for asset management
- Support disposition analysis and distribution reviews
- Contribute to investment criteria, SOPs, and renovation standards
- Support capital markets and fundraising efforts
- Maintain deal files, reporting, and market studies
Associate Investment Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, accounting, math or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience with 3–4+ years in multifamily real estate private equity, development or investment
- Proven ability to independently run transactions from underwriting through closing
- Strong knowledge of U.S. multifamily markets, especially FL, NC, VA and MD
- Deep understanding of value-add multifamily business plans and due diligence
- Advanced Excel modeling skills built from scratch
- Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking abilities
- Confident communicator who can engage in negotiations and deal discussions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and accountability
- Experience with RealPage, Hallodata, Monday.com, or Yardi preferred
- Market experience in the Southeast, particularly Florida, preferred
Benefits:
- Discretionary bonus of 10–20% + Deal closing bonuses + Disposition bonuses
- Medical coverage (100% employee, 80% dependents)
- 10 days PTO + sick days + birthday off + cultural days and holidays
- Direct access to leadership and decision-makers
- High-impact role in a fast-growing investment platform
This role is built for a high-caliber multifamily investor who wants to be in the room where decisions are made, run real deals and grow into a senior leadership role inside a family-office-backed investment platform. Apply now! #LI-SB1
