A nationwide commercial and residential construction firm is hiring a Superintendent in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. This role is critical in overseeing commercial construction projects across Texas, ensuring quality and efficiency from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing teams and subcontractors, navigating the complexities of demanding clients, and maintaining high standards in a challenging environment. Success in this position requires strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, as the Superintendent will work closely with project managers and field teams. The ability to adapt to varying project sizes and scopes while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance is essential. Superintendent – TX Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage project teams, including project managers, site superintendents, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, including clients and team members.
- Prepare daily reports and documentation related to project status and issues.
- Lead hands-on work when necessary, including supervising installations and upgrades.
- Address client needs and expectations while maintaining a professional relationship.
- Coordinate overnight work as required by project demands.
Superintendent – TX Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent; less experience may be considered for exceptionally strong candidates.
- Proven experience in commercial construction projects.
- General contractor experience is essential.
- Experience managing larger projects, ideally in the range of $5M and above
- BA in construction management or business management preferred
- Municipal buildings would be helpful
- Experience with electrical components preferred
