A respected full-service business law firm is hiring an Estate Planning Legal Assistant for its Plano office, supporting a busy and respected Estate Planning practice. In this role, you’ll work directly with 2 – 3 attorneys to manage calendars, track deadlines, prepare and organize files and binders, handle follow-ups, and assist with reviewing legal documents. This position requires precision, initiative, and strong communication to keep matters running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, confident in speaking up, and comfortable driving workflow forward without needing to be micromanaged.

Estate Planning Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support 2 – 3 attorneys in the Estate Planning practice
• Manage attorney calendars and deadline coordination
• Proactively follow up to ensure tasks and timelines stay on track
• Organize files and assemble client binders
• Review and help prepare legal documents
• Maintain detailed, accurate workflow and documentation

Estate Planning Legal Assistant Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years of experience as a legal assistant
• Estate planning experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and ask questions when needed
• Proactive, self-driven approach to managing workload
• Court Alert experience is a plus
