An industry leader in the world of printing and packaging is hiring a Remote Post Press Outside Sales Representative to serve customers across Pennsylvania and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, you’ll represent industry-leading post press, packaging, and finishing solutions, from folding carton systems to advanced automation technology, helping commercial printers and packaging manufacturers modernize their operations and stay ahead of the competition. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in the field, understands complex capital equipment sales, and wants to build a career with a company that has led the print industry for more than 175 years. You’ll manage your territory remotely, travel extensively (60–70%), and have the freedom to create real results backed by one of the most trusted names in manufacturing.
Remote Post Press Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow customer base throughout Pennsylvania and the greater Mid-Atlantic region
- Prospect new accounts and drive consultative sales for post press and packaging equipment
- Partner with internal product experts, account managers, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Build long-term client relationships by understanding production challenges and offering strategic equipment upgrades
- Use Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline activity, forecast sales, and track performance
- Travel 60–70% of the time for customer visits, site evaluations, trade shows, and demonstrations
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of technology portfolio and emerging market trends
Remote Post Press Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
- 3 – 4+ years of B2B or capital equipment sales experience, ideally in printing, packaging, or manufacturing
- Proven ability to manage long, consultative sales cycles and negotiate complex deals
- Understanding of post press and finishing processes, including die cutting, folding/gluing, stripping preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen and self-motivation to work remotely with limited oversight
- Comfortable traveling up to 70% of the time across the assigned region
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
