In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert keeping world-renowned printing and packaging systems performing at their best. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and preventative maintenance, your work will directly impact the success of commercial printers, packaging manufacturers, and production teams across the Midwest. Salary Range: $62,400 – $72,800 / Year DOE

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Travel throughout the Chicago region to perform maintenance, installations, and repairs on printing and finishing systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues to minimize customer downtime
• Deliver exceptional on-site support and training with professionalism and precision
• Use Salesforce CRM to log service calls, parts, and customer updates in real time
• Manage tools, company vehicles, and equipment according to quality standards
• Collaborate with a strong national network of service experts while working independently in the field
• Occasionally travel outside the area for advanced training or regional support

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience repairing, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial, manufacturing, or printing equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel daily throughout the Chicago metro
• Technical or vocational training preferred
• Self-starter who’s adaptable, dependable, and takes ownership of their work
