As a Lead Attorney in the Calabasas office, you’ll own high-value plaintiff personal injury cases involving adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse guiding them from intake through trial. You’ll run cases end-to-end, manage strategy, direct depositions, prepare clients, collaborate with experts and serve as a key partner to the Trial Attorney. Salary Range: $200,000 – $350,000 / Year DOE

Personal Injury Lead Attorney Responsibilities:

• Run plaintiff personal injury cases involving sexual abuse from start to finish
• Lead litigation strategy and direct case progression for ~50 high-value cases
• Conduct and defend extensive depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, trial preparation sessions and trials as first or second chair
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, briefs and complex legal filings
• Prepare clients for depositions, hearings and trial testimony in emotionally sensitive matters
• Lead collaboration with investigators, forensic accountants, mental-health experts and other specialists
• Manage client communication and expectation setting with trauma-informed care
• Mentor and guide Associate Attorneys and support staff assigned to your team
• Ensure excellence in case management, organization and deadline tracking
• Represent the firm with professionalism, integrity and compassion

Personal Injury Lead Attorney Requirements:

• 10+ years of litigation experience
• Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation experience required
• Extensive deposition experience
• Proven trial preparation experience
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and maintain precision under pressure
• Excellent legal writing, research and courtroom advocacy skills
• Trauma-informed communication style=””>Leadership mindset

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with case-management platforms
