A well-respected Texas Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The Commercial Lines Account Manager steps into a warm, well-established book of business led by a partner who treats his clients like friends. You’ll handle service, renewals, and coverage reviews while delivering the personal attention this agency is known for. This role is for a polished insurance professional who knows and understands all aspects of commercial lines. Someone dependable, detail-oriented, and energized by helping clients understand coverage, make changes, and feel genuinely supported.

Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a designated commercial book of business with strong client relationships
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, invoices, cancellations, and reinstatements
  • Review accounts for coverage gaps, exclusions, and marketing opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and assist with quoting and applications
  • Issue binders, COIs, schedules, and policy documents with complete accuracy
  • Maintain renewal lists and ensure all timelines are met
  • Educate clients on policy terms and coverage needs
  • Provide technical support to producers and contribute to agency growth goals
  • Handle incoming calls, mail, and general office tasks as needed
  • Update and maintain data in AMS360 and Microsoft Office systems

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty License
  • 4+ years of commercial lines servicing and client-facing experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial coverage markets, forms, and carriers
  • Proficiency with Vertafore/AMS
  • Excellent communication, documentation and follow-through
  • Stable employment history and commitment to client service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
