Job Description

A Bay Area wholesale flooring and installation company is hiring an IT Help Desk Coordinator who keeps the business running. As the company opens new stores across California, this role will provide on-site technical support, maintain hardware, set up workstations, and troubleshoot systems critical to store performance. This is a high-trust, high-growth role for a positive, hungry, and resourceful IT professional who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and building scalable infrastructure in a fast-growing retail environment.

Salary Range: $47,840 – $52,000 / Year DOE

IT Help Desk Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for IT support across all retail locations
  • Set up and maintain workstations, POS systems, printers, pin pads, and other hardware
  • Install and configure software, including Google Workspace and cloud-based tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Travel regularly to retail stores for onsite support
  • Assist with equipment inventory and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and technology upgrades
  • Ensure every location has reliable tools to support strong sales performance

IT Help Desk Coordinator Requirements:

  • 1 – 2+ years in IT support, hardware setup, or help desk role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working with computers and devices
  • Experience with Google Workspace and cloud-based applications
  • Willingness to travel weekly to retail stores with mileage reimbursement
  • Friendly, professional communication with internal teams
  • Reliable, organized, and ready to take initiative without handholding
  • Experience supporting multiple retail or distributed locations preferred
  • Exposure to POS systems or vendor onsite support preferred
  • Familiarity with RollMaster software preferred
