Job Description

A rapidly growing female-owned construction company in Augusta, Maine is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will take ownership of high-impact builds and lead the people who make them happen. This role drives the planning, execution and delivery of ground-up and renovation projects across commercial, institutional, industrial and historic environments. You will manage client satisfaction, performance, schedule and profitability while developing Assistant PMs and partnering closely with Superintendents. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects ranging from $1M–$15M
  • Manage 1 – 3 projects at a time depending on complexity
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, contract administration and change management
  • Directly manage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Site Superintendents
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction across demanding environments
  • Ensure all safety, quality and compliance standards are met without compromise
  • Collaborate with estimating, operations and leadership using EOS business practices
  • Utilize Procore, MS Project and Bluebeam to maintain accurate reporting and documentation
  • Represent the company’s brand and values in every interaction

Senior Project Manager Requirements:

  • 7 – 10 years of progressive commercial project management experience
  • Proven success leading multiple projects and high-performing teams
  • Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture required
  • Proficiency with construction management systems
  • Procore experience preferred
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting and conflict-resolution skills
  • Calm, confident communication with demanding clients
  • Ownership mentality — if it needs to get done, you make sure it does
