Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

·      Process high-volume AP for multiple retail locations

·      Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding and approvals

·      Reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies and research outstanding issues proactively

·      Prioritize and respond to AP inbox communications with timely follow-through

·      Assist in organizing and improving AP processes as the team standardizes operations

·      Prepare vendor payments and maintain strong vendor relationships

·      Support month-end close tasks as needed

·      Collaborate with the AP Manager and CFO to meet department goals

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

·      2+ years experience in high-volume AP environment

·      Retail or multi-location company experience strongly preferred

·      Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

·      Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems

·      RollMaster experience a plus

·      Proactive and resourceful

·      Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with vendors and internal partners

·      Team player who is reliable, accountable and not afraid to ask questions

·      Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
