This attorney will partner directly with two highly respected litigators handling sophisticated commercial and business defense matters. You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and step into court with confidence as you build toward running your own cases. The right candidate brings sharp legal instincts, strong writing, and a client-first mindset. They know how to navigate a courtroom and want to work inside a stable, respected firm where partnership is earned.

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Support Partners and Shareholders on commercial and civil defense litigation matters
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines with precision
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
• Perform courtroom appearances, hearings, and client communications
• Progress toward first-chair responsibilities and independent case management

Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• 5 – 8 years of litigation experience
• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Demonstrated experience with depositions, pleadings, and courtroom advocacy
• Ability to handle matters with professionalism, initiative, and accountability
• Strong communication, organization, and client service orientation
• Defense-side experience representing businesses, hospitals, or public entities preferred
• Background in a small or mid-sized firm environment preferred
• Modest book of business a plus
