A global leader in specialized logistics and supply chain services to the cruise industry is looking to grow its operations team in Opa-Locka, FL, by adding an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager becomes the right-hand to the VP of Operations and the front-line leader driving performance across freight, warehousing, and client delivery. This role owns the movement of goods, the development of people, and the strength of the service promises made to their partners. They are seeking a confident operator who thrives under pressure, leads with accountability, and knows how to turn complexity into clarity. Someone who can command respect on the warehouse floor, collaborate with leadership, and protect the customer experience every step of the way.

Operations Manager Requirements:

• Lead, coach, and elevate a high-performing import/export and booking operations team
• Oversee daily movement of goods across air, sea, and road to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with cruise line clients and resolve issues with urgency and tact
• Implement process improvements that increase speed and accuracy while improving efficiency
• Manage compliance, QA, and internal SOP adherence
• Conduct regular performance touchpoints and drive accountability to KPIs
• Analyze operational failures and drive corrective actions
• Monitor budgets, job costs, and invoicing accuracy
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to optimize the full supply chain network
• Champion continuous improvement and a solutions-first mindset

Operations Manager Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or port operations
• 2+ years leading and developing direct reports
• Strong understanding of back-end logistics processes and cost drivers
• Ability to remain calm and strategic with demanding customer expectations
• High accuracy, organization, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on systems exposure
• Experience with CargoWise a plus
• Growth-minded leader who can build process, not just manage it
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
