Job Description

They are seeking an Outside Sales professional to drive new business development and build long-term client partnerships within the Twin Cities market. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-oriented salesperson with a background in machining or fabrication who thrives on autonomy and results. Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000 / year DOE 

Outside Sales Requirements:   

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the machining or manufacturing industry 
  • Strong background in business development and customer relationship management 
  • Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided) 
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree not required 
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a local travel schedule to meet clients onsite 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

Outside Sales Responsibilities: 

  • Generate new business opportunities within the machining and fabrication sectors 
  • Meet with engineers, buyers, and decision-makers to promote machining services 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business 
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and ongoing account support 
  • Travel locally throughout the Twin Cities area to meet customers and attend on-site visits 
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to align sales goals and business growth strategies 
  • Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company’s continued expansion
