A growing mechanical and construction services company based in Savage, Minnesota is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a variety of projects ranging from small service work to mid-sized remodels and additions. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with field and office teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized professional with HVAC experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their schedule.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $150,000 / year DOE

HVAC Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple HVAC and mechanical projects from start to finish while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule goals are met
  • Coordinate with field teams, office staff, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project execution
  • Oversee project planning, mechanical layout updates, and service or remodel work
  • Track project progress using project management tools and provide updates to leadership
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and internal protocols
  • Handle projects of varying sizes, prioritizing tasks to balance workload effectively
  • Support business growth by fostering strong client relationships and adapting to project needs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and knowledge sharing

HVAC Project Manager Requirements:

  • 1+ years of HVAC experience for junior level, 3–5 years for mid-level, 10+ years for senior level
  • Practical HVAC knowledge with experience in service work, remodels, or mechanical installations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with teams and clients
  • Familiarity with project management systems is a plus (trainable)
  • Self-motivated and able to manage schedule independently
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with diverse project types and sizes
  • High school diploma or equivalent, trade certifications preferred but not required
