Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 / year DOE 

Business Development Manager Requirements:   

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the facility supplies, packaging, or safety equipment industries 
  • Proven success managing distributor and rep relationships, with an understanding of multi-tier channel strategies 
  • Strong computer and data management skills 
  • Experience overseeing a remote sales territory independently 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required 

Business Development Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and grow sales within the East Coast territory, focusing on distributor and representative relationships 
  • Support and guide third-party manufacturer reps, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed 
  • Oversee sales pipelines, monitor distributor activity, and identify opportunities for business expansion 
  • Maintain strong feedback loops with end users to align strategies and improve channel effectiveness 
  • Balance farming and hunting responsibilities by managing both existing accounts and new opportunities 
  • Travel every other week (up to 50%), with key markets including the Tri-State area, Florida, and the Great Lakes region 
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership to refine strategy, optimize systems, and improve internal processes
