A premier design-build firm in Midlothian, Virginia, specializing in custom residential and commercial cabinetry, is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to join its growing team. CAD Engineer Responsibilities:

• Create detailed build drawings and shop lists for residential and commercial cabinetry projects
• Translate schematic and kitchen designs into accurate plans using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision
• Ensure every drawing aligns with engineering and production standards for buildability
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and engineers to maintain production flow
• Track and order materials specific to each project’s design and requirements
• Support multiple active projects by reviewing designs and verifying technical accuracy
• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies before production begins
• Contribute to project quality control through consistent attention to detail

CAD Engineer Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in estimating for high-end residential construction
• Experience with stone and tile work is highly preferred
• Proficiency in CAD and Bluebeam
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
