A premier luxury custom home builder is hiring a Field Superintendent to oversee multiple high-end custom home construction sites across the Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and the South Bay area. This role owns the field, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and site safety, implementing design plans, and keeping luxury home projects on track from ground-up build through completion. You’ll work autonomously across 3 – 4 active job sites, supported by a hands-on leadership team that’s deeply involved and invested in your success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, energetic, personable, and thrives in the fast-paced field environment where real decisions are made.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 / Year DOE

Field Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations across 3 – 4 custom home build sites
• Schedule subcontractors and ensure work quality, timelines, and safety standards
• Implement design packages and coordinate with designers, owners, and internal teams
• Maintain job site safety, inspections, and compliance throughout the build process
• Monitor materials and supplies, coordinating with office staff to ensure timely delivery
• Enforce construction schedules and resolve site issues quickly and effectively
• Manage punch lists and quality control to deliver high-finish results
• Represent the company on job sites as the day-to-day leader
• Travel directly from home to job sites in the South Bay, no office reporting required

Field Superintendent Requirements:

• 2+ years of residential ground-up construction experience
• Strong scheduling, site coordination, and trade management experience
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple job sites simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
• Tech-savvy and experience with Procore or similar project management software
• Must thrive in a fast-moving environment with autonomy and field decision-making
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Stable work history
• No multifamily backgrounds
