A leading construction firm based in Winter Haven, Florida is seeking a driven and forward-thinking Job Site Superintendent to oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role requires hands-on leadership, proactive communication, and a strong understanding of earthwork, paving, and underground utilities. Job Site Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Get the job site up and running each morning and ensure smooth daily operations
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and crews to maintain project timelines
• Lead weekly meetings with customers and contractors to review progress and resolve issues
• Oversee site safety and quality control in partnership with the safety team
• Conduct material testing, inspections, and project documentation
• Manage the project schedule, including creating three-week lookahead plans
• Communicate project needs and updates effectively with all stakeholders
• Identify and resolve potential issues before they impact schedule or quality

Job Site Superintendent Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction field supervision or site management
• Strong background in heavy earthwork, paving, and site development
• Working knowledge of underground utilities and coordination between trades
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and GPS-based systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite and manage multiple field teams
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a standard background check
