Salary Range: $52,000 – $58,000 / year DOE  

Payroll Specialist Requirements:   

• 2-3+ years of payroll or accounting experience 
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Business, or related field) 
• Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks Online 
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
• Open to candidates from any industry background 

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:  

• Process weekly payroll submitted to an external PEO 
• Track and process sales commissions 
• Follow up on past-due invoices and assist with collections 
• Reconcile bank accounts and review financial reports 
• File state and federal reports and manage tax payments 
• Support month-end close and other accounting tasks as needed 
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth payroll and reporting processes
